Make it Sew is a fabric and sewing studio located in historic downtown Lexington, Virginia.
I’ve been sewing ever since my mom taught me as a kid in Massachusetts. My first home in Virginia was a tiny apartment with barely enough space for my small sewing cabinet. I had to pack everything away between projects; Living in a house with a large sewing room where I could spread out gave me the opportunity to really hone my skills. The rest was history until November, 2017, when I opened Make It Sew to bring fabric and sewing back to downtown Lexington.
