Crop toppers

These one-of-a-kind garments had been in the works for a few months before I realized what they should be called.

Though inspired by vests, that word doesn’t quite fit. These have cap sleeves whose edges project just past the shoulder on most people.

They are definitely not sweaters—while they are designed to keep you warm, there’s not enough material for me to call them sweaters.

They are fun, cozy top layers, and they deserve a fun name, hence, Crop Toppers.

They are made by hand from materials that I’ve had for a couple years, waiting for the right project. And they are inspired by simple garments that I learned to make this summer—those were in much different materials.

The crop toppers will keep you cozy as you work from home this fall and winter and also brighten up your ‘round the campfire outfit.
