Endeavour pants workshop
Pants are not necessarily hard to make, but they can be hard to fit. We’ve decided to use this clever pattern for our first pants-making class because its design provides some excellent fitting opportunities. Fitting is a process and while we expect students will make some pretty nice pants, individual students may not achieve their desired fit the first time around.
This is a level 3 class. Many students will complete their project during class time; there may be homework. Students may use their own sewing machine (must be in good working order) or use studio machines. Studio machines and space are available for students outside of class time by arrangement with Make It Sew.
With this class, you will:
- Determine your size in the unique sizing system
- Trace the pattern
- Layout, mark and cut the fabric
- Make mid-project fitting adjustments
- Sew the pants.
Cost is $150 plus materials. Materials may be purchased at Make It Sew with a 10% discount. Fabric will need to be laundered before class.
Second session is Feb. 24, 10-5.
