Community Work handkerchief
We're bringing back a limited number of these hankies. 50% of the proceeds from sales of these handkerchiefs will be donated to Hurricane Helene relief.
This is the first handkerchief in the 2021 series of handkerchiefs from kibblewoodcrafts.
The intricate design is made from a hand-pulled screen print… and there’s more to that story, of course. Devon began with a drawing, and then transferred the image to heavy black paper which was then carefully cut by Xacto knife. A screen was created, and the fabric squares printed from the screen.
When prompted with the Make it Sew February theme of “work,” Devon was inspired by beavers and the ecologies they create.
We’re really inspired by the habitat Devon created in this square of 100% cotton fabric handkerchief. Will you wear it? Will you put it in your back pocket? How will you use your Community Work handkerchief?
